Notice of Public Hearing (Virtual)
Monday October 5, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. 
Notice is hereby given that the Emmitsburg Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2020 via Zoom. The purpose of the hearing is to take public comment on proposed Ordinance 20-08, which would amend Title 16, Subdivisions and Ordinance 20-09, which would amend Title 17, Zoning. If you would like to speak during public comment or on an agenda item, you must sign-up to speak before 7:30 PM. Sign-up to speak and obtain the meeting login information by emailing your name, address, and topic you would like to speak on to mshaw@emmitsburgmd.gov or by calling 301-600-6300. Please contact Zach Gulden, Town Planner, at zgulden@emmitsburgmd.gov for more information on the proposed amendments.

Purpose: Inform and take public comment in regard to a zoning map amendment request to rezone Lots 10, 11, 15, and the western half of 12 as shown on the revised Plat of Emmit Gardens, recorded in Plat Book No. 3, folio 52, from R-1 Low-Density Residential to B-1 Neighborhood Commercial.
