Notice is hereby given that the Emmitsburg Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Town Office located at 300A South Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, MD 21727.  The property owner of 10201 Taneytown Pike, M&G Realty, requests variances to Chapter 17, Sections 38.170.I.3. (proposed 50’ high on-premises freestanding sign along US-15 instead of 10’ code maximum); 38.170.I.2. (proposed 609 sq. ft. on-premises freestanding sign along US-15 instead of 50 sq. ft. code maximum); 38.170.I.3. (proposed 35’ high on-premises freestanding sign along Taneytown Pike instead of 10’ code maximum); 38.170.I.2. (proposed 162 sq. ft. on-premises freestanding sign along Taneytown Pike instead of 50 sq. ft.); and 38.060.F.4.d.
